Altdorf Schiffbau

Altdorf Schiffbau was a defence and shipbuilding company located in Altdorf in the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The company was founded in 1716 after a merger of several smaller family-owned companies that mostly constructed small to medium sized fishing trawlers. The company continued to offer these fishing trawlers, but has also received tenders from the Kriegsflotte Ludwigshafen to build two warships.

After the foundation of the United Principalities of Cibola in 1725 AN, the remaining assets of the company were reorganized into the Altdorfer Werften-Dampfkessel Werke firm.
