Alpin MacMartin is the current King of Moorland. Born into a prominent Moorlander Clan, he survived the Nova English Diaspora and the chaos that followed. With the rapid expansion of Ostland to the south pushing the expansion of the Norse into East Moorlandic lands, Alpin rallied the various clans under a single banner and forged the Kingdom of Moorland. His rule has seen Moorland through exponential growth, recouping nearly all of Nova England's former territory on mainland Keltia and working fervently to ingratiate the nation as a positive member of the international community.
Married his kinswoman Lorna MacMartin (distant relative) in 1701 AN, with whom he has a son, Kenneth MacMartin.
