The 1707 elections in Sint Barentsz were the first elections ever held in the nation. Three parties participated in the elections, the Sint Barentsz National Congress, the Syndicalist Party of Sint Barentsz and the Post-humanist Appeal. Willem de Veer of the Sint Barentsz National Congress was elected as stadtholder of the fledgling republic in the first session of the new Stadsparlement.
