The Iron Fleet is a private navy established in 1638 as the fleet of the Iron Company. The Iron Fleet currently serves as the naval forces of the Verionian Empire, Los Liberados (where it is partially nationalised), Kasterburg. It claimed that Batavia had outsourced parts of its military under the Mackay government, but this caused huge outrage across the nation when the news became public. It was denounced as illegal (no law permitted the illegal transfer of funds to the Iron Company) by the King and most political parties during the 1680 election. Several employees were arrested during Operation Iron. As such, the Iron Fleet is a semi-private international naval force.
