Jingdaoese people in Krasnarus

Batavians in Krasnarus numbered 37,084 in the 2017 census, but scholarly estimates put the minority's numbers as high as 40,000, including ancestry. They have a history dating back to before 2016, when they migrated as a separate business class to the unincorporated region after the Jingdaoese takeover. Most of them felt that Albion was too important to abandon. Others still stayed because they hoped to establish a new nation there, but this failed; after Jingdao lost control of the region, the territory was in anarchy until Krasnarus formally made its claim to Micras in 2017, which included Albion and Sylvania. As of 2017, only 1.8% of Batavians were below the poverty line.
