Florian Super Round

The Florian Super Round is an annual event organised by the FRFL which an entire round of Super League matches are played over a weekend at a single stadium to promote the sport of rugby league. The venue usually being abroad. Viten Arena,Freeland will host the inaugural event in 2018.
Concept
The concept of the Florian Super Round was confirmed in December 2017 after a vote to scrap the Super League Nines. A joint proposal from clubs was launched about an extra round of matches being played in a country which is not usually associated with the sport of rugby league. The Freeland Tugby League Federation was invited to host the host inaugural which was accepted. Matches will be played at an expanded Viten Arena.

2018:Viten
For the inaugural version of the event. four league matches took place on Saturday and the remaining four on Sunday. Matches will be played at a expanded Viten Arena.
