Eric Reiner Jost (b. 1672 AN, d. 1751 AN) was an Aerlan Field Marshall who served as Inspector-General of the Grand Army of Aerla. He was promoted to the post after the former Inspector-General, the elderly Generalmæjor Allen McMahon, was forced into retirement following the resignation of Henry Cassian. Called the "Shëkamarshall" due to his aristocratic upbringing, he proved invaluable in the organization and planning of the nation's army.
Commissioned into the GAR as a Generalolberz, he was promoted to Field Marshall in 1717 AN. Jost would hold the position of Inspector-General of the GAR for 30 years.
Jost would pass away in 1751 AN at the age of 79 after a heart attack. He was given an elaborate state funeral in Noursala and buried at the National Cemetery.
