The Federal Debt Review Board (FDRB) is an independent oversight body in the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie established by amendments to the Public Debt Management Act in 1743 AN. It was created as part of a legislative compromise that abolished the national debt ceiling.

The FDRB is tasked with monitoring, investigating, and reporting on the status of public debt and fiscal policy in the Federation. It is empowered to conduct audits, subpoena documents, and publish quarterly assessments of the nation's debt trajectory. The board also reviews proposed legislation for its long-term fiscal impact and reports findings to the Federal Assembly of Nouvelle Alexandrie.

The FDRB is composed of a Chairperson and six additional members, nominated by the Premier in consultation with the Leader of the Opposition and confirmed by the Federal Assembly. The Board operates independently of both the Treasury and the Federal Government, though it coordinates closely with them for data access and compliance.
