Economic Coordination Committee
The Economic Coordination Committee is a principal policy-making body of the Concord Alliance Treaty Organization (CATO), established under Article 5 of the Concord Alliance Treaty in 1734 AN. The committee oversees the implementation of CATO's comprehensive free trade framework and coordinates economic policies among member states. Working closely with national finance and trade ministries, it develops common standards for economic cooperation while managing the harmonization of regulatory frameworks across the alliance. The committee plays a vital role in facilitating trade, removing barriers to investment, and resolving economic disputes between member states.
Through its permanent secretariat in Lindstrom, the committee maintains ongoing analysis of economic trends within the alliance and coordinates responses to financial challenges affecting member states. It serves as the primary forum for consultation on major economic policies, working to ensure that national economic decisions align with the alliance's broader goals of promoting prosperity and stability across member states.
