Green Eura Coalition
The Green Eura Coalition is an environmental advocacy group in Oportia founded in early 1737 AN. The organization formed as an alliance between several environmental groups, including the Green Party of Oportia, and various student and citizen organizations concerned with environmental protection. Its primary focus is advocating for stricter environmental regulations, particularly regarding Alexandrium mining operations, and promoting the transition to renewable energy sources.
The coalition gained prominence during the 1737 Oportian Green Eura Coalition protests, where it successfully mobilized tens of thousands of protesters in Vanie and other major Oportian cities. Under the leadership of spokesperson Emile Rousseau, the organization continues to campaign for environmental causes and serves as a watchdog for government environmental policies, maintaining regular dialogue with the Oportian Environmental Review Board established in response to their protests.
