Der Tag (lit. The Day) is a daily Weisenburger newspaper that covers both local news in Weisenburg along with national news. It was formed in 1726 AN after journalist Christoph Haselberger founded a publishing house in downtown Weisenburg. It, and it's employees, are apart of the Kaiserliche Verband Druck und Medien (Imperial Association for Print and Media), and is currently edited by Claus Hetingsdorf.
The newspaper currently offers both print and online subscriptions, and individual newspapers can be purchased at stores across the country. It also operates on several social media platforms such as Tweeter and ClipWave.
The newspaper maintains a broad Centre-Right political stance, mostly aligning with the views of the Conservative-Nazarene Union, although Der Tag has no connection to the official newspaper of the KNU, Der Tägliche Nazarener.
