Symbols of Celebarad

The Symbols of Celebarad are a collection of symbols, cultural markers that are used in Celebarad and abroad to represent the nation and its people. The country has a number of national symbols. None of the national symbols of the nation are defined by law but have become part of the national conciousness over the years.

Official name	Teirnas Celebarad Kingdom of Celebarad	The name Celebarad derives from the Menelmacari for Fortified Place of Silver, and is likely a reference to both the silver mines that lay in the North East of the Kingdom, and to the White Fortress of Celebarad. The name initially refered to the city of Celebarad, but gradually expanded to the wider Kingdom, in which case the name has taken to mean Land of Silver. Celebarad is a Kingdom, ruled by a scion of the House of Earion.
Constellation	the Great Swordsman in the Sky	The Great Swordsman in the Sky is a constellation that is visible from the equator. In Celebaradi lore, the Great Swordsman in the Sky is none other but the heavenly version of Earion, the Founder of the city.
National Flag	Flag of Celebarad	The flag of Celebarad is known as the "Silver Banner" or the "Banner of the Stars". it depicts the Great Swordsman.
Coat of Arms	Coat of Arms of Celebarad	The Coat of Arms of Celebarad is a shield bearing the Great Swordsman. It is the personal arms of the House of Earion, and became the shield of the City of Celebarad, and since 1712 of the Kingdom.
National Anthem	"File:Heroes of Celebarad.mp3" Heroes of Celebarad	Heroes of Celebarad is a Celebaradi song that was adopted as the anthem of the Kingdom of Celebarad in 1717 upon its independence. Originally a war song that referenced the uprising against the Vanics, the song has become a symbol of Celebaradi unity since its adoption..
