The New National Curriculum, officially known as the Programa para el Desarrollo Integral y Competencias para el Futuro (Martino: Program for Development and Skills for the Future), abbreviated to PDIC, is the national curriculum framework for the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Introduced in 1738 AN by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, PDIC outlines the essential knowledge, skills, and values that all students in primary and secondary education are expected to acquire.

Subject: National Curriculum for the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie

By the authority vested in me by the Constitution of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie, I hereby order the following:

1. National Curriculum Framework

The Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) shall implement a national curriculum framework (NCF) applicable to all primary and secondary schools within the Federation. The detailed NCF is attached as Annex A to this order.

2. Curriculum Content

The NCF outlines core subjects, minimum-level subjects, and future skills essential for all students. These include:

  • Teacher Training: DECS will provide professional development programs to equip educators with the skills to deliver the NCF effectively. This includes training on pedagogy, assessment practices, and integrating 21st-century skills.
  • Learning Resources: DECS will establish and maintain a repository of high-quality, culturally diverse learning materials aligned with the NCF. These materials will be available to all schools free of charge.
  • School Autonomy: Schools may adapt the NCF to address their local contexts and community needs, with prior approval by DECS.

4. Monitoring and Reporting

  • DECS will regularly monitor the implementation of the NCF by schools and provide support where needed.
