Goldsekt is a Protected Regional Product under the Xäiville Convention

Goldsekt is a sparkling wine from Taktwinkel, Confoederatio Aemilia that is a protected regional product under the Xäiville Convention. The luxury product consists of sparkling wine made from grapes that have been grown in the Taktwinkel area, small gold flakes are added to the wine during final bottling to give a luxurious appearance to the wine. To protect the luxurious image of the product, only wines of the highest quality can be sold as Goldsekt.
