Boomist Stone
The Boomist Stone is an ancient, powerful stone given to Dutchess Hypatia Agnesi of Kildare as a gift from Baron Ozarka Monto of Hallucination within the borders of what in the 15th century was known as Southern Halluci (nowadays bordering Southern Dalmacija). The stone resides in the Temple of Ryvenna. Legend has it that if the stone is ever removed, the Temple is supposed to explode with the power of five suns, an explosion large enough to destroy half of Micras. Sufficient to say, don't touch it.
The stone still attracts many pilgrims and believers to the temple grounds, especially since the construction and expansion of the regional road network to the nearby town of Hantian.
Folktales
The mysterious stone led to several folktales, which according to official sources are unlikely to be true. Nontheless, locals gladly use them to attract more tourists to the region.
According to one local folklore tale, the Boomist Stone was discovered by Ozarka Monto himself, who was said to have been guided to it by a vision. He believed that the stone held the key to unlocking great secrets and powers, and thus had it brought to the Temple of Ryvenna, where it could be properly studied and protected. In his devotion and love for his feudal lady, he granted it the Dutchess, whom believed that it was safer to keep it faraway from the urban centers at the coastline. Over time, the stone became a central part of the temple's teachings and rituals, with the priestesses of Ryvenna believing that it held the power to bring about great change and transformation.
However, there are also darker tales surrounding the Boomist Stone. Some legends claim that the stone is cursed, and that anyone who dares to remove it from the temple will suffer dire consequences (which one could already expect when being blown up with the power of five stars). Even followers of Tianchaodao believe that the stone is guarded by powerful spirits, who will not hesitate to unleash their wrath upon any who would seek to disturb its rest.
Despite the warnings and fears surrounding the Boomist Stone, many adventurers and treasure hunters have attempted to retrieve it over the centuries. None have succeeded, however, and it is said that the stone remains safely ensconced within the temple, waiting for the day when it shall be needed again.
Despite the danger surrounding it, the Boomist Stone continues to captivate the imagination of all who hear its story, and its legacy lives on as a testament to the enduring power of myth and legend.
