Proclamation of Weisenburg

The Proclamation of Weisenburg is the founding document of the United Principalities of Cibola. It was signed in 1725 AN by representatives of 5 political entities in Southeastern Cibola, and laid the groundwork for the unification of these entities into a single state. It is not to be confused with the Weisenburger Constitution, which serves as the actual constitution for the nation.

OF WEISENBURG

DRAFTED AND ESPOUSED BY THE COLLECTIVE MEMBERS OF THE GRACE OF OUR EMPEROR LUDWIG DER ERSTE VON HEIDA-WEISEN ZU KÜRSTENBERG, KAISER VON SUD-ÖST ZIBOLA, HERZOG VON WEISENBURG, BESCHÜTZER DES LÄNDES UND DIE MENSCHEN VON ZIBOLA, GESCHÜTZT VON GOTT, CHANCELLOR HANS-GEORG von NIMITZ AND THE COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES ON THE HOUR OF 4.3.1725 AN.

With the gathering of the representatives of the DUCHY of WEISENBURG, the PALATINATE of ALCH, the FREE CITY of BÜLOW & ALTDORF, the COLLECTIVE LANDS of JÜRICHEN, and the DUCHY of RHAETIA, hereby declare an act of union of any and all of these preexisting political entities represented here into a single union led by the divinely appointed Duke of Weisenburg, LUDWIG von HEIDA-WEISEN. This proclamation, by the grace of our divine creator, shall provide the foundation for this union on this direct hour of the year of our Lord 1725 AN.

These united lands shall hereby contribute for the common defense against all enemies, foreign and/or domestic. They shall provide the conditions necessary for the goodwill of all people who reside within the boundaries of the land. Representatives from these united shall meet in common ground in order to ensure these conditions are satisfied.

The sovereignty of our lands are to be held sacred and entrusted to the Emperor and the Imperial Legislature. It shall be the union's duty to preserve the integrity of the territory and the people of the nation. Shall this infringement come to bear, the consent of the Emperor and Legislature will be brought forward in order to defend such integrity with a militia of those loyal to the union's cause.

Gathered here are those who pledge their honor to protect the dignity of our new nation, and shall lay down their lives in order to see it through. We pledge our sacred honor to ensure the prosperity of all peoples in our lands, no matter what cost.

Our PERFECT UNION
shall hereby be declared as the
UNITED PRINCIPALITIES OF CIBOLA.
