Elkshire is a small northern hold located within the Kingdom of Ashinthael. It was established mostly by a remnant population of Shirerithians living isolated within the mountains; a leftover people from Shireroth's prior sovereignty over the region centuries ago. The region is known for herding elk, a practice picked up by the locals as a means of survival during the years of isolation.
