Magenta scorpion

The magenta scorpion is a predatory arachnid that lives on the island Murder to the south of Corum. Due to the magical influence of the Eye, these scorpions have grown to a massive size and have been coloured magenta. The scorpions live on the beach but will venture into the shallow part of the sea to hunt for food, such as dolphins, seals and killer whales. The scorpions are considered to be extremely aggressive and will stalk and kill humans even if they are not hungry and do not feel threatened by them. Like most aggressive fauna on the island, the animals do not attack those that carry the Mark of the Mistress.
