Räumung des Waldes
The Räumung des Waldes, which means Clearance of the Forest in South-Cibolan Saxon was a "law signed by the Provisional Government of the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen that made it illegal to maintain domicile in the Lanzerwald further than 60 kilometres away from the near-agglomeration of Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen and Altdorf (formerly known as Oudorp). While perhaps alien to foreign eyes, the Räumung des Waldes was recognisable to the eyes of all people in the Lanzerwald as just a more extreme version of Lanzerwaldian nationality law in which all other cities were stripped of their city rights. Goal of the law was to make the Lanzerwald more governable, with the large distances between the cities enabling rebellions and foreign infiltration.
