Article 1. The title of this act is: Orders Act 1702.

Article 2. This act regulates a matter as provided for in articles 25, i of the Constitution.

Article 3. An order of distinction shall be established, named the Order of As-Saif.

Article 4. The order will have 4 grades:

a. Grand Cordon

b. Grand Officer

c. Officer

d. Knight or Dame

Article 5. The Sultan will be the Grand Master of the order.

Article 6. The Sultan will award the grades within the order. He needs the approval of the Grand Vizier.

Article 7. The members of the order cannot assert any political or civil rights other than those of non-members.
