The 1698 New Alexandrian census was the third census conducted by the government of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie since its formation in 1685 AN. The census took place from 12.III.1698 AN until 23.XIII.1698 AN. In some remote areas of the Federation, the census continued until 23.XIV.1698 AN.
The 1698 census was the first census in New Alexandrian history to offer options to respond via internet or by phone, in addition to the paper response form used for previous censuses that were used in the first and second censuses.
The 1698 census recorded a population of 226,937,835 inhabitants in Nouvelle Alexandrie, reflecting an increase of 4.63% or 10,045,288 inhabitants.
All Regions of Nouvelle Alexandrie experienced population growth, except the region of New Luthoria.
