Extremist organisations in Sanama

Sanama has been home to several extremist organisations ever since Shirerithian rule. These organisations were allowed to grow and prosper through the neglect of national security issues during the First Republic. A weak federal government and small cantonal governments lacked the proper resources to combat separatism and extremism.
