The Daily Mail & Telegraph of Eliria

The Daily Mail & Telegraph of Eliria is the oldest extant newspaper in Elwynn, founded in 1605 as a merger of the tabloid Daily Mail (founded in 1527) and the conservative Eliria Telegraph (itself founded in 1498). Despite its name, it is published and widely read all across Elwynn. Its political leanings have since the merger been "independent, nationalist, and humanist" (note the Oxford comma). From its beginnings as a tabloid, it has since developed into being Elwynn's newspaper of record. Its active voice of dissent during the Vanic era brought Ayreonists and other liberals to its readership.
