Club Career
Degroot was originally a player for Zeeburg FC, but on 14 July 2012, he transferred for a fee of 200,000 cr to Svorgas Scitenhima in Senya, breaking both leagues records for biggest transfer fee, despite having yet to have played for Zeeburg FC.
International Career
Degroot made his international debut for Zeeburg in the 2012 Zeeburg Tournaments.
