Season structure
Baseball is a summer sport in the Florian Republic and the season runs from March to October. During the course of the season, each club plays 12 games against opposing teams. In total teams play 132 games each season. Due to the large number of games, the regular season is constructed from series of usually two or three consecutive games. The twelve clubs in the league are divided into two geographical conferences.
