Ismailabad (Classical Babkhi: اسماعيل اباد , Esmā‘īlābād; Modern Babkhi: Есмоилобод, Esmoilobod; Elw: enu Ismailion) is an Elwynnese bailiwick and city on the border to Shirekeep. Traditionally seen as a suburb to Shirekeep, it has since Elwynnese independence in 1671 grown as a large trading city of renown. Population 1,263,450. Although Babkhi is the only official language here, Præta and Istvanistani both have a large presence.
