Order of succession to the Kaisership
The Order of Succession to the Kaisership is determined by the Imperial Charter of Shireroth and decrees made under it.
Rules
A simplified version of the rules are as follows:
- Only legitimate heirs of the body of Kaiseress Noor are allowed to succeed.
- Elder sons and daughters and their descendants have precedence over younger sons and daughters and their descendants
- No discrimination based on gender
- Legitimacy is ranked: the child from a marriage ranks higher than the child from concubinage, the child from a concubinage ranks higher than the child from courtesan.
- The Kaiser may remove persons from the order of succession, acting as if they were dead (e.g. if Jeremy is removed from the order of succesion, as if he were dead, his eldest child will take his place instead)
Current Order of Succession
