The People's Republic of New Riverina is a micronation with intent to claim in Apollonia's north. They are a Trotskyist communist society where the state exists to serve the working class and the means of production is owned and run by the people. The national sport is Association Football and the league aims to be one of the world's best some day. The country is led by James Paladin, the son of former Vyktoryan King James II. He has been appointed for life by the ruling government, which runs on a form of sortition and lottery with four-year terms. The country experiences some of the best income equality in the world and manages to be self-sufficient thanks to significant advances in food production, green energy and other sciences.
