La Concordia is a historic royal residence located in the Alcazaba District of Punta Santiago, the fortified historic core of the city. Originally constructed as the Executive Mansion in 1672 AN, it served as the presidential palace of Alduria before the unification of Alduria and Wechua into Alduria-Wechua in 1685 AN. Renamed to signify harmony following the merger, La Concordia remains a significant political and cultural landmark, combining the roles of a royal residence and a regional administrative hub. The building's neoclassical architecture, designed by Gabriel de Santibañez, features grand colonnades, sweeping staircases, and lush formal gardens with panoramic views of the Aldurian coastline.

La Concordia serves as a retreat for the King of Nouvelle Alexandrie and a venue for coastal diplomacy, hosting royal gatherings and state functions. Its grounds also house the official residence of the Governor of the Region of Alduria, separate from the main complex at Casa Montalbán, maintaining its role as a center of regional governance. Located in a district rich with historic fortifications and cultural heritage, La Concordia is emblematic of the enduring legacy of Alduria's pre-unification governance and its integration into the broader history of Nouvelle Alexandrie.

Casa Montalbán

The Casa Montalbán serves as the official residence of the Governor of the Region of Alduria, located within the grounds of La Concordia. Adjacent to the residence is the Gerhardt Seydlitz Executive Office Building, a modern facility designed to house offices for government functions supporting the Governor and regional administration. Together, these structures form the administrative heart of Alduria, blending the historical significance of La Concordia with the operational efficiency required for modern governance.
