Pyros is the is the planet third closest to the star Atos.

North Polar Regions

The North Polar region of Pyros is characterized by its dark, rocky terrain interspersed with occasional light-colored patches. The darker areas suggest extensive volcanic rock fields, indicating past geological activity. The region experiences frigid temperatures, though not as extreme as those on Eos, and is covered with frost and ice, particularly in the shadowed areas. This combination of rock and ice creates a rugged, almost desolate landscape, marked by craggy outcrops and deep crevasses.

The second of the research probes to be launched as part of the Inner Atos System Survey, the IASS-00P1 was deployed on 36/1/35 PSSC on a mission to gather geographic and atmospheric data relating to the Pyrotian surface, and to investigate the possibility of life or the potential for settlement on Pyros. Foremost among the missions of the IASS-00P1 is to gather enough data to allow researchers to compile a detailed map of the planet.

IASS-00P1 is expected to arrive in orbit around Pyros around the middle of the year 37 PSSC. The probe, which is designed to orbit Pyros at a distance of around 440,000 km from the planet, will collect data for at least four years.

Mythology

Pyros is typically portrayed as a powerful, elderly bearded man dressed in armor and carrying a traditional Alperkin style spear. Pyros is often wreathed in flames, which represent the passion and creativity which the Planetary Divine inspires.

Pyros is revered by practitioners of the Reformed Stripping Path as the Divine of Fire, Passion, and Creativity. Born from the primal flames that ignited the cosmos, Pyros embodies the transformative power of fire and its role in the eternal cycle of creation and destruction.
