Ouroboros

Ouroboros, the cosmic serpent, a mythical being typically depicted as devouring its own tail, becoming thereby the signifier of perpetual recurrence, and thereby of infinity. The symbol occurs in several myth systems and appears depicted in the iconography of the Honourable Company and the World Humanist Movement. Identified with the planet Micras in the Bassarid religious system.
