Timsar-e Ettelâ'ât va Amniyat-ē Kešvar
The Timsar-e Ettelâ'ât va Amniyat-ē Kešvar (Director of Intelligence and Security for the State), known also as the Mystikos or Master of Secrets after an office inspired by the Constancian Crypteia owing to the influence of Alexios Melas, the founder of the Surenids secret service, is an official responsible for state security within the Suren Confederacy.
The expansive remit of the director includes all matters pertaining to espionage, counter-espionage, industrial archaeology and the study of foreign technology.
The main body subordinate to the Timsar-e Ettelâ'ât va Amniyat-ē Kešvar is the Sazeman-e Ettela'at va Amniyat-e Suren (Intelligence and Security Organisation of the Suren), a secret police and counterespionage service with a remit over the population and territory of the Suren Confederacy, which was established in 1709 AN with the passing of the Intelligence and Security Organisation of the Suren Act in that year by the Majles-e Suren.
