A natural attacking midfielder, Yewsmikel is famously known for his setpieces and abilities to score from free kicks.

Yewsmikel began his career at Belaov Treble in 2013 before making his first ever start for the club in 2014. After cementing his spot as a regular player, Yewsmikel became an integral part of Belaov Treble's squad before leaving the club in June of 2022.

Early life

Yewsmikel was born in 1996 in the city of Kanmencha. Due to the conservativeness of his family, Yewsmikel was brought up in a very strict household where his interests were not accepted by his parents unless it corresponded with their line of work. This included prohibiting sports and even going as far as to signing a contract with his high school, Kamencha Institution, to prevent their son from participating in physical education.

Yewsmikel caught interest in football when watching a 2008 FMF World Cup between Nova England and Hamland but circumstances at home prevented him from having proper development and he was barred from his school team. When he turned 15, Yewsmikel made the decision to run away from home and ended up at the border of the Kanmencha province where he stayed homeless for a few days until his uncle found him after his parents alerted his family members. His uncle who also faced a similar issue when he was younger took Yewsmikel as his own and raised him, bringing him back to Belaov and registering him for Belaov High School.

At Belaov High School, Yewsmikel joined the football team and won the championships in his first season and was immediately regarded as a natural talent, he became internet famous after videos of his freekick in the final circulated the internet. After he graduated, Yewsmikel was approached by a scout from Belaov Treble to ask him to join the club.

Club career

Joining Belaov Treble

Yewsmikel signed for Belaov Treble in the summer of 2013 as a youth prospect. Though he appeared in a number of pre-season friendlies, even impressing against the country's best players, he wasn't handed a start until the 2014-15 season where he played 50 minutes in a league match against Tchanzuk Town.

Yewsmikel made 12 appearances out of a possible 30, recording 2 goals and 7 assists and was even nominated for Young Player of the Season. In the 2015-16 season, Yewsmikel missed 6 games after suffering an ankle injury at the end of the season. There were reports of a loan move to Trifold Football Club during his rehabilitation and for match fitness but the move didn't materalise and Yewsmikel continued starring for the club after he made a full recovery.

During the 2016-17 season, Yewsmikel won Player of the Season after recording 15 goals and 17 assists for the club. He also won other accolades such as Goal of the Season after scoring a free kick from 39 yards that curled its way into the top corner against title rivals Belaov City. Belaov Treble won that game and City proceeded to lose the league by two points, Yewsmikel also won Krasno Player of the Season and recorded the most Player of the Month awards in one season in the league's history with five.

Final season with the Treble

In the 2021-22 season, Yewsmikel had another terrific start, recording 1 goal and 5 assists in his first ten games but was suspended for three matches after his mistimed tackle took out Aeland Belaov FC's Urio Hanaka.

Yewsmikel's final game for the club came in the Krasno Shield where his presence helped his side edge out Lorat Ultras. Following the win, he confirmed his departure from the club on mutual agreement after Sancrus FC reached out to both the club and his agent about their interest. Instead of signing a new contract as intended, Yewsmikel and the club decided to let him leave for Vegno.

On 20 June 2022, Sancrus FC announced the signing of Yewsmikel for Cr 3 million.

Style of play

Yewsmikel has been noted to have one of the best visions and passing abilities in the league, maintaining over an 80% pass completion rate for five seasons straight. Yewsmikel also has recorded the most key chances created since the league's rebranding. Yewsmikel's set pieces are also an integral part of his game as his crosses from corners of free kicks have recorded a 82% key chance. Including penalties, Yewsmikel has scored about 48% of his goals from set pieces including 2 from corners.

Personal life

Yewsmikel attended the Belaov Business Academy after graduation as he juggled football and graduated in 2015 and holds a diploma in business and entrepreneurship.

Yewsmikel engaged with his wife, Dynise Tarvoaski, in 2017 and the pair announced the birth of their child, Skye, in 2018.

Due to familial problems as a child, Yewsmikel has cut off contact with his parents and their relatives aside from his uncle and siblings who were supportive of his dreams. His uncle, Elaqo Yewsmikel, was a scout in Belaov Treble until he resigned in 2017 and became Jordan's agent the following year.
