Friendly Neighbour Machine

The Friendly Neighbour Machine is a high-tech computer system, related to the Obedience Machine, which is in service with Kildare. The system, which uses artificial intelligence based on the RasmOS architecture, collects and analyses data on the attitude of neighbouring states, by processing news articles and social media posts. After analysis, the aggregated data is translated into a friendliness profile which states how likely it is that a neighbouring state will perform unfriendly actions such as invasion against Kildare. The Friendly Neighbour Machine is outfitted with tactical nuclear missiles, that it can launch without human interaction, which are designed to take the edge of a hostile manoeuvre.
