Talk:Work homes

__ — Today at 10:57 AM Being a seemingly elderly man, I had no idea this was a thing. I guess it's similar to those reality shows, where they take trashy, self-important people and force them to live together on camera?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collab_house Collab house A collab house or content house is a residential property where content creators live and create content for social media platforms. They are most associated with the users of TikTok, a video-sharing social networking service; and have been referred to as 'TikTok houses'.
Ardy — Today at 11:15 AM "The house was owned by external investors who took up to 20% of the earnings of the occupants." Nice. Good to see the business model of the bordello continue into the 21st century. I wonder what percentage will go on to join Ric in OnlyFans after a stint at "Collab House" 😏

Ardy — Today at 12:26 PM Glorious
Congressional Ric — Today at 12:27 PM quite happy i made it sound like a social democracy
Ardy — Today at 12:28 PM Just about anything can be made to sound nice as long as the details of the ownership arrangements can be kept vague 😏
Contemplates a Talent Shed with hobbyists (model painters and such) trapped inside, fed water and gruel in return for creating "content"

haha 😄
so i think some work homes are just like lawyer's sharing an apartment building that they own together through some shared LLC
but others are just gruelling work houses where you have no money, and have to work work work like imagine a foodora house
foodora workers living together, having to pay their profits to the landlord, not having much money left for food, so they have to work even more to just stay afloat, while the landlord makes a nice profit
Ardy — Today at 12:34 PM is foodora what you lot have instead of Uber Eats/Just Eat? but yes it sounds perfect for the gig economy
Bezos missed a trick not establishing "Amazon Houses"
(onwards towards digital company towns!)
Congressional Ric — Today at 12:38 PM yes, and and of course the professional middle class libs in Hurmu would be against regulating the work homes more, because it would mean they'd have to move out and start paying market-rate accommodation...
Ardy — Today at 12:39 PM well done, we've invented exploitative communalism (pipe down Mao, you don't exist). Pats on backs all round.
Congressional Ric — Today at 12:43 PM 😄
