The Self-Defence Forces of the Elwynnese Republic, an armed force declared to have entered into existence with the secession of the Republic of Elwynn and Amokolia after 12.II.1692 AN. It is now considered the armed forces of Free Elwynn. Formed of volunteers, law enforcement agencies within the seceding autonomous republics, and defectors from the Union Defence Force.

Home Guard

The Reserve Forces of the Self-Defence Forces comprises of the Home Guard, a levy raised in each bailiwick to provide for the administration of law and order, the fulfilment of tasks relating to civil defence, and the maintenance of a militia which may be called upon to conduct the defence of the bailiwick if it comes under attack. Where a bailiwick comprises a part of an active front in the ongoing civil war the levy of the Home Guard for that Bailiwick will come under the authority of the Joint Command of the Self-Defence Forces for the duration its required service. Except in those instances necessitated by the needs of defence, the Home Guard will remain within the bailiwick in which it has been raised and will be subject to the authority of the Minister of the Interior and the Committee of General Security for the fulfilment of its normal duties.
