Northcliff International Airport bombing
The Northcliff International Airport bombing was a politically extremist inspired terrorist attack in Northcliff,Florian Republic. On the 11th October 2017, a homemade nail bomb was detonated whilst people were waiting for boarding flights in Terminal One, the largest terminal in the airport. 40 people were killed with another 70 being seriously injured. The attacker died in the incident. The bombing came after huge political tensions in the country.
Attack
On 11 October 2017 at 16:48 pm FST, a suicide bomber detonated an improvised nail bomb in the foyer area of terminal One at Northcliff International Aiport. The attack took place at peak time at the airport.
Aftermath
In 19:30 FST, it was announced that the killer's name was Max Sharpe. It was announced that all hospitals in Northcliff were full and that they started to heal all the injured victims. The airport was heavily damaged in the attack and the airport will be closed for three months.

In 19:30 FST, it was announced that the killer's name was Max Sharpe. He was 23 years old and was a member of the Florian Nazi Party, who would later join the Far-Right Pact. He was born on the 11th May 1994 to a low-class Florian family from Dragonmoor. He had 3 brothers and 1 sister. He studied at St. Peters University in Dragonmoor but dropped out after two years. He had no previous criminal record and was not seen as a 'high risk' from the Florian Police.
Investigation
An investigation is currently ongoing to see if the attack was linked with the Far-Right Pact. If proven the Pact will be unlikely to run in the Florian General Election 2018. Also, Police are tested improvised explosives and discovered that the explosive substance used in the bombing was 10 times stronger than C-4.
