Adelwin is the capital city of the Republic of Aerlig. The city is also the capital of the Aerlish State of Auelrict. As well as this, it is the main port of Grand Commonwealth naval and air forces on the western side of Micras.

The city's CBD has an interesting design which is centred around the National Parliament Building, Statesman House. The building is a circular shape. Each of the national ministries are located directly around this.
To the east of the Parliament at the end of the Mall is the Prime Minister's Office, and to the west the Protector's office. This completes the government axis. Behind the Protector's Office is the People's Forum, a gathering place for the public. The Central Court is just to the west of this.
