History

2026 season

The Ostville 76ers began the 2026 FFL season with Nicholas Turner as head coach and Kieran King starting at quarterback. The team strengthened its roster through the 2026 FFL Draft, selecting running back Mason King with the 29th overall pick, followed by wide receiver Anthony Reed and cornerback Caleb Jones.

Ostville struggled during the opening weeks, winning just one of its first five games. With the team sitting at 1–4, the 76ers decided to make a change at quarterback.

Ahead of Week 6, Ostville signed veteran Patrick Thomas, who had been selected first overall by the Longsight Lions in the 2020 FFL Draft. Thomas agreed to a one-year deal worth $8 million, including $5 million guaranteed. The 76ers released reserve quarterback Mason Johnson to make room for the signing, while King was moved to a backup role.

Thomas made his debut on the road against the Marinsk Mesounians, throwing for 246 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Ostville went on to win 27–21, ending a three-game losing streak and improving its record to 2–4.
