The Ardyn Ikh Khural (Ist: People's Great Assembly), formerly known as the "Great Yurt", is the legislative assembly of the tribes and cities of the Khanate of Lontinien.
First convoked as the Great Yurt in 1689 AN, the khural would meet on occasions of great importance to realm, such as the accession to Hurmu, the Barikalus-Hurmu war, and the 1719–1720 Hurmu civil conflict.
Summonses to the "Great Assembly" were again sent out in 1729 AN under the terms of a yarliq issued by the Khanum and Viceroy, Enkhjargal al-Osman. Delegates, and their retinues, were commanded to assemble at Khojinacinggha by 1.IX.1729 AN.
On 8.IV.1753 AN the great assembly was again summoned in response to the NKR insurrection in neighbouring Lac Glacei. Delegates arrived at the Darbar Palace confronted with proposals to mobilise the Keshik in response to rebel moves towards the northern frontier of Lontinien.
