CATO Accession Summit

A CATO Accession Summit is a ceremonial state event held to mark the formal entry of a new member state into the Concord Alliance Treaty Organization. Hosted in the capital of the acceding nation, the summit brings together heads of state, government ministers, and senior officials from all existing member states for a multi-day program of diplomatic ceremonies, cultural events, and integration planning sessions. The tradition was established with the accession of Vegno in 1738 AN, the first nation to join CATO after its founding.

Accession Summits typically span four days and follow a standard format: a formal treaty signing ceremony on the first day, bilateral meetings and working sessions on the second and third days, and a closing celebration featuring cultural performances from all member states on the final day.
