The Nouvelle Alexandrie Statistics Bureau (NASB) is a New Alexandrian independent government agency under the jurisdiction of the Department of Research and Development. Established in 1692 AN, the bureau serves as the principal federal entity responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating statistical data related to the economy, population, society, and environment of Nouvelle Alexandrie. The mission of the NASB is to provide reliable, relevant, and timely statistical information to government officials, businesses, researchers, and the public, aiding in informed decision-making, policy development, and evaluation of societal progress.
History
Founded in 1692 AN as part of the modernization efforts by the Coalition for Federal Progress transitional government led by Premier Alejandro Campos, the NASB was tasked with establishing a comprehensive statistical framework to support the burgeoning needs of Nouvelle Alexandrie's government and economy.
