The State Protection Authority (Saxon: Staatsschutzbehörde, abbreviated as the SSB), commonly known as the Stasches, is the state security and intelligence service of the United Principalities. Formed in 1725 AN, it serves the purpose of rooting out threats to the independence of UPC, both domestic and foreign.
