The region's only flight-capable lisea, or mammal, the Sesama-Lisea-Irf is considered to be the primary carrier of the virus which caused a regional epidemic at the end of the sixth century. Commonly seen feeding on the sap of the [[Adraso-Oname]], this creature is sometimes known to live in large burrows underneath human-dwellings which replicate the creature's preferred natural living space. Those who have the misfortune of finding these creatures on their property are advised to contact exterminators, rather than attempt to deal with infestations on their own. Local lore holds that these creatures are capable of growing wingspans up to a frightening 1.5 meters.
