The Zyrkis Super League is the top-tier football in Zyrkistan, organized by the Zyrkistan FA. The first season was held in 2007.
The league is contested by ten teams, with each team playing 18 fixtures per year. The last two teams that finish bottom of the table relegate to Zyrkis League 1.
History
Before the establishment of the Zyrkis Super League (ZSL) in 2007, all Zyrkis football clubs and associations played in the Zyrkis Football League, a single division league. Afterwards, the ZFA found that they needed more competition, hence the existence of the ZSL.
In 2010, a representative club from Daau, Bintang Timur SC participated in the 2010 ZSL campaign. Unfortunately, due to multiple incidents of riots and misunderstanding between the Bintang Timur fans and the ZSL, Bintang Timur SC left the ZSL in 2012.
