The Popa Cola Company is a carbonated soft drink manufacturer based in Pakuwi, Sanama. The recipe was created in 1667 by a local merchant in the city, and later acquired by the founder of the company, Eddie Yorela. Popa Cola products are primarily found in Sanama, where it is the largest soft drink manufacturer, but it is also exported to various other countries, like Drak-Modan, Tellia and Alduria. The Popa Cola products are noted for their high content of sugar, sourced from locally produced sugar cane. Since the recipe also contains extracts from the liquorice root, excessive consumption can have a laxative effect.
