The Birgeshir national rugby union team is the representative side of Birgeshir in rugby union. It is administered by the Birgesh Rugby Union. Birgeshir is a member of the MRU.
History
The team was created in June 2014 after years of evergrowing interest for the sport in the micronation.
The first friendly was,however,played in 2016 at the Caerdragon Stadium, in Pentyre, with Calbion defeating Birgeshir by 27–11.
Birgeshir also competed in the Rugby Union tournament at the 2018 Micras Games,winning against Lusa but eventually losing to Florian Republic and Gerenia.
