The Novatainia national cricket team was the national cricket team of Novatainia. The team was formed to play in a series of ODI matches that took place in Alexandria in late July 2008.

The Valenciennes Province Cricket Club arranged for them to play four matches: a one-off match against the Alexandrian Emperor's XI and three against the Valenciennes team. They defeated the Emperor's XI comfortably before being beaten by Valenciennes 2-0 in a series of three 50-over matches. The first match of the series ended with no result following poor weather restricting play. The following two matches resulted in comprehensive victories for the home side.

Valenciennes were scheduled to tour Novatainia autumn 2008.
