The Aemilian Senate (Senatus Aemilianus) is the highest assembly of the Confoederatio Aemilia, with the powers to enact laws that are valid throughout the confederation. It consists of one hundred people who are elected by all people over the age of 18 who hold citizenship in the confederation. Elections are held every five years. The political system is has many of the parties that were previously active in Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen, although their positions have shifted to align with the values of Aemilian society. The dominant party is the Sozialprogressive Einheitspartei Aemilias.
