Merfolx are a group of people , who have the upper body of a human being and the lower body of a fish. In most of history they roamed the seas of Micras, where they were often hunted by bigoted people who rejected their humanity. Since 1729, when Princess Emilia Antoinette invited them into her protection, most of them have been living in the territorial waters of the Confoederatio Aemilia. The Rosaburg and the Lanserburg have been constructed especially to protect them, and one of their kind, die Gräfin has been made an admiral of the Classis of the Confoederatio Aemilia.
